I sat down here on the 110th floor (I think it was 110th) and had a slice of pizza from Sbarro’s there. Quite a view for enjoying lunch.
Quite a view from the island.
WTC 1 and 2 Spring 1973 from across Church Street [no WTC 4 yet]
A views from office window at 30 Main Street Dumbo. Move out not long afterwards anyway as the owner converted it to condos.
The gorgeous NYC skyline seen from the ferry while on my way to the Liberty Island.
It was a bit surreal to stand right between the towers here…loved this area.
Taken in February 1974
In April 2001. Old-school in-camera, film camera panorama. View from World Trade Center roof.
My father and stepmother lived in a building next to the World Financial Center, just down the street from the towers. The elevators used to roar with the wind created by the vortex seen here. Luckily they moved out long before Sept. 11th; I took this on a visit around 1990.
This picture is analog, taken with my Minolta SLR in 1992!! This is one of my fave pictures!
